A couple of celebrities have found themselves in the cell after engaging in nuisance & unruly behaviour. For some like Eric Omondi, the cell is not something new.

Eric Omondi
The jester had a rough time after he tried to push the government to pass motion on play 75% Kenyan content.
His sentiments took him to Central police station. Similarly, Eric Omondi once took netizen’s CV’s to The State House; but his trip was cut short after police ganged up on him & took him to the police station.
DJ Joe Mfalme
The latest celebrity to find himself behind bars was DJ Joe Mfalme. A DCI officer by the name Kitosi allegedly quarrelled with Joseph Mwenda aka DJ Joe Mfalme after ramming his vehicle. The accident took place at Kikuyu Police Station in Kiambu County.
This led to an altercation, with the entertainer’s team assaulting Kitosi before the three police officers took over the case.
When the three officers arrived at the scene, they arrested Kitosi and took him to Kikuyu Police Station.
The entertainer and his crew also joined the officers at the station but were later allowed to leave without recording a statement. Mfalme was later released after the court found him not guilty.

Jackie Maribe & Jowie
High Court delivered judgment in the case where Joseph Irungu alias Jowie and former TV news anchor Jackie Maribe were charged with the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.
The verdict saw Jowie get a life sentence while Jackie Maribe went free.
Activist Boniface Mwangi
Boniface Mwangi has been among celebrities who have been in the cell more than once. Being the activist that he is, Mwangi has on several occasions tried to fight for justice; but ended up in a cul de sac.
Other celebrities who have been behind bars are Size 8, Hope Kid, Daddy Owen, Rufftone, Akothee, Redsan, Wyre, Nazizi, Avril.
