Veteran musician & radio presenter Sanaipei Tande has addressed online speculation on X regarding her personal life. In an interview with Lynn Ngugi on YouTube, she firmly denied pregnancy rumors.
Tande, a veteran in the entertainment industry, has encountered numerous fabricated stories throughout her career.
“When I started, I was naive,” she admitted. “I believed everything was straightforward. But then I learned the reality – people can invent elaborate narratives.”
She elaborated on how negativity used to affect her. “As a young artist, I was susceptible to outside influences. However, with experience, I’ve come to understand that there’s a spectrum of truth. There are those who will go to extremes to spread rumors.”
Tande emphasizes the importance of discerning genuine news from negativity.
“Rumors no longer faze me. People can say whatever they want. Just recently, a social media post claimed I was pregnant. This baseless speculation gained traction, and people bombarded me with questions.”
She maintains a firm stance against addressing online harassment. “It’s baffling that after two decades, some individuals still haven’t grasped that I prioritize my privacy. Inquiries about my personal life go unanswered. I simply don’t engage, and eventually, the rumors fade away.”
Tande concludes by emphasizing self-assurance. “As long as you possess the truth, outside noise shouldn’t hold any weight.”
