Kenyan Public Relations strategist Elseba Awour Kokeyo, famously known as ‘Cebbie Koks’, has responded to all those asking why she brought down her husband’s images from her social media account as well as did away with his name on her bio.
She shot back at critics and all those making inquiries, urging them to get a life and find something to do rather than stalking her life, as she has her own reasons for why she decided to do what she did, and that doesn’t concern them at all, leave alone expecting an explanation from her.
“People are petty. I have a business in the same context. Why are they not amplifying that? Why are we looking at things that don’t matter? We are more inclined toward the negative than the positive. People need to find a life!
Can I live my life in a way that I find comfortable? Instead of living a life for yourself or on social media, Whatever decision I make, it’s my choice and my space. I should not be compelled to explain why I did that,” Cebbie said.
Cebbie is married to city lawyer Steve Ogolla, and the two have been on and off, and that has always made the public question their love life situation, wanting to know if they are still together or not, something that Cebbie has addressed, dismissing it with asking the public to leave them be as they are beings too, and they deserve some space and room to breathe without having to answer to anyone.
Around the middle of the previous year (2023), rumors began to circulate that Cebbie and Steve were divorcing when the entrepreneur altered her Instagram bio and removed all of her husband’s images from her profile.
