Jamaican dancehall artist Shenseea has opened up about why her Kenyan concert didn’t go as planned despite the public being made aware that she would be coming to the country.

Sharing the information via her social media page, Shenseea said this while responding to a fan who asked why she didn’t show up, saying that it was postponed because of safety reasons; however, she hinted that she will be traveling to the country soon.

“So I was booked for Kenya, and due to safety concerns that were brought to my attention,I was told it was best to reschedule. I chose to refund my deposit rather than hold on to it without a date being set. The promoters assured me that all monies would be refunded to patrons as well.

I look forward to performing in Kenya soon! Thank you to all my supporters for understanding.” Shenseea’s statement read:

Back in the year 2023 Shenseea was scheduled to come and perform in Kenya on the 26th of August but you see that never happen due to reasons that were termed as unavoidable circumstances, but the show was postponed to October and turns out that didn’t happen as well reason why Kenyans felt frustrated as the issue was never addressed.
