Kenyan artist Willy Paul hints that he is now officially back and can’t wait to make the many moves he plans to make this year after escaping a near-death coup that was arranged by cartels to take him out.
Speaking through his social media page, the ‘Hallelujah’ hitmaker said that this year he is getting back to doing what he does best, despite having had a rough year and gone through a lot.
“This year, I’m bringing back Willy Paul. The Willy Paul you all miss. Listen, good family. Willy Paul has gone through a lot, and that’s why Pozze came through. Pozze is actually a defense mechanism for Willy Paul.
Pozze is the one protecting Willy Paul. We all know how cartels operate!! I tried finishing Will but failed terribly.” Willy Paul’s statement read:
A while back in August 2023, Willy Paul condemned individuals who had raided his studio with intentions and motives of destroying and bringing him down; luckily enough, he wasn’t around.
“I wonder why you’d do that. Boss, stay out of my life. Sending people with guns to my studio won’t help. Leave me alone. I’m 10 steps ahead. Consider this a warning. I may look stupid, but I’m not,” Willy Paul said.
He did not disclose the motive of the attack or whether he incurred any damages or losses during the attack.
