Kenyan actress Shikx Kapienga has disclosed the reason that makes many men back away from confronting her.
Speaking during an interview with Dr. Ofweneke, she said that men more often don’t hit her DMs wanting to take her out like the rest of other ladies because they feel like she is so ghetto.
“Wao hudhani mimi ni mghetto sana.” Shikx Kapienga said
Shikx said that even with men not approaching her, she is used to that kind of life because she was born and raised in the Ghetto, and men not approaching her isn’t a big deal to her as she is used to that kind of life.
In other discussions, Shikx Kapienga shared her break-out moment in her acting career, saying that the most that made her be in the spotlight and her brand recognized was the famous Beba Beba show that used to air on TV.
She then went ahead to do ‘Siri’, Nairobi Half Life that’s on Netflix, and Sugar, in which she acted alongside Lupita Nyong’o.
She praised Lupita Nyong’o as an outstanding character with remarkable acting skills who is even more humble than anyone can ever imagine, even with all the fame and wealth she has.
