Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has asked the public to remember her in their prayers after announcing that she is taking a social media break.
Speaking through her social media page, Vera said that she will be going offline for a little while so that she can recuperate after hinting that she isn’t feeling well and will resume online later.
“I’m unwell. Remember me in y’all’s prayers. I’ve been offline and will be staying off social media and any other apps for a bit. Until I feel better, all love Vera’s statement posted on her page read:
Apparently, no one knows what Vera is going through because she didn’t disclose the whole details of why she is taking a social media break and just shared a glimpse of it, saying she ain’t feeling well.
Vera, a mother of two, has been the talk of town ever since she announced that she had decided to part ways with her boyfriend, Brown Mauzo, who is the father of their young daughter.
Vera immediately resumed the initial gigs that she used to do, which were hosting clubs, not just in the country but worldwide. Recently, Vera flew from the States and shared her experience, saying she loved the experience and telling all those interested in wanting her to host for their clubs to make early bookings.
Basically, club hosting is when a famous person uses their fan base to promote a club by letting people know they will be there and urging them to turn up in numbers. This effectively draws the club’s audience in. In actuality, it benefits both parties since the club owner gains more patrons and the influencer gets compensated for exploiting his connections.
