Kenyan couple Nicholas Kioko and Wambo Ashley talk about parenthood journey.

Speaking in an couple’s show with Tuko Extra, the duo addressed the challenges of parenting, admitting that children are not easy to bring up, especially if they are twins and the parents are all held up with work.

Nicholas Kioko dismissed the saying that goes around that children come with their own plate, admitting that bringing up children is way more expensive than they thought it could be.

“Wasee hiyo shit unaskianga aty mtoto akikuja anakuja na sahani yake, that’s total nonsense; mtoto anakuja na sahani yake aje.”

The duo highlighted having spent a lot more on children’s well-being, hinting that it keeps getting hard time and time again, hence the reason as to why they are afraid of getting pregnant again because they feel they might end up getting another set of twins.

“Wasee tunaogopa kuget pregnant tena juu tunaeza end up kupata twins tena na vile kulea ni ngumu.” Kioko hinted.

The duo that was on a couple show talked about quite a number of matters, including one in which Wambo Ashley disclosed one thing that she could never forgive if Nicholas Kioko went ahead and did it.

Wambo said that of all the things that Kioko can do, if there’s one thing that she cannot forgive, it’s cheating.

“Ebu jaribu uone siwezi aje sasa?” Wambo Answered.

She dismissed any claims to be the second wife or allow Nicholas to have two wives and even asked him, if at all he has it in mind, to let her know so that she can decide what to do next.

Kioko, on the other hand, refused that he wouldn’t take in a second wife, and he only brought the matter up because he felt his father might influence him because he also has two wives.
