SPM Buzz Host, Miss Kithinji, has recalled how she came into being and made it to being the person she is right now.
Speaking through her social media page, she narrated how often she always dreamed to be a journalist, despite the challenges and ups and downs.
“I grew up wanting to be in front of the camera, literally my whole life. Anyone I went to school with in primary and high school can attest to this.”
She went on saying that she was having a hard time trying to do what she loved as nobody supported her decision as they thought it was not worth working on considering she was a lady.
“Did I mention how everyone discouraged me about studying journalism after high school?? I don’t remember anybody supporting my decision, including my peers.”
She had almost given up on her dream until SPM Buzz Company was opened later on, which has been in existence for over 3 years now and counting.
SPM Buzz is an online media channel that focuses on informing the public with first-hand news as it unfolds and concentrates on all niches, including entertainment, politics, and many more.
Miss Kithinji, who is now a talented professional and well-informed SPM Buzz journalist, studied at the University of Kenya Institute of Mass Communication and also holds a degree in Communication and PR.
According to her, At no point in her life did she ever imagine that at some point in her life she would be recommended and congratulated by the President of the Country, let alone get access to the statehouse and other governmental proceedings. This to her is a big achievement, as it is to the entire fraternity of SPM Buzz.
This comes after she went to the Exhibition showcasing where the e citizen platform was being unveiled at the Kenya International Conference Center (KICC) that was happening on a Friday, where she was seen holding a thoughtful conversation with the current President of Kenya, William Ruto, who acknowledged the work that the team is doing and upheld the CEO of the company (Eddie Butita) for making it happen and creating opportunities for people to grow themselves as well.
Congratulations, Miss Kithinji, from the SPM BUZZ fraternity! We are happy to have you as part of the team and wish you all the best as you keep doing what you love most.
