Jowie Irungu who’s the victim in question has been issued with a death penalty sentence after being found guilty of the murder of Monica Kimani.

Jowie Irungu comes from Nakuru County and grew up in one of the modest families.

He pursued his education with a focus of wanting to be a security Manager.

He did work in various capacities within security industry.

He is 33 years old with Both Parents and has 3 siblings.

He suffers from asthma since childhood, and he’s usually triggered by cold and dust.

He Completed his Secondary Education in the year 2010

He joined the Kenya Polytechnic and completed his training in the year 2011 receiving a diploma in food production.

He moved to Dubai where he received training in tactical military firm at Dubai Police academy by a group known as ‘Ogala Group’ which licensed him fit to offer private security.

Jowie is a Christian who sings and has produced several music videos and was actively involved in church activities.

He is the Fiancé of popular Tv presenter Jacque Maribe.

In September 2018 he was arrested and named a prime suspect in the murder of Monica Kimani and jailed for 16 months with no bail.

On February 9, 2024 he was found guilty of murdering businesswoman Monica Kimani. On March 13th he was sentenced to death by the high court
