Tanzanian music group Zabron Singers have released a new song dubbed “imeniuma sana”, as a tribute to their late member, Marco Joseph. The poignant and emotional track serves as a heartfelt farewell to their dear friend and fellow musician.
“Imeniuma Sana” features Japhet Zabron Philip and is a powerful plea to God for strength and comfort during this difficult time.
The song captures the grief and faith of the Zabron Singers as they navigate the loss of a beloved member.
The video of the song features the choir members dressed in black, symbolizing their mourning for their departed colleague who passed away while undergoing treatment for a heart condition.
Gone too soon
Marco Joseph was laid to rest on August 25th in Kahama, Shinyanga, Tanzania, in an emotional ceremony attended by friends and relatives.
The Zabron Singers performed at the funeral, expressing deep emotions as they bid farewell to their fallen comrade.
It’s worth noting that many of the Zabron Singers members come from one family, while the rest are close family friends. This strong bond likely contributed to the deep sense of loss and grief felt by the group.
