Kenyan artist Willy Paul has shared the reason why he opted not to feature any Kenyan artists in his new album, ‘Beyond Gifted‘.
Sharing the reason through his Instagram page, Willy Paul said he chose not to feature any Kenyan artist despite him being a Kenyan because them artists aren’t good and kindhearted. A statement that has left many wondering what he means by this.
“I see people complaining and asking me why my album has no Kenyan acts. Kwani mmesahau vile Kenya kuwa na roho mbaya ni the most affordable thing??” Willy Paul wrote on his page.

About Willy Paul’s Album
According to the ‘Hallelujah‘ hitmaker, he would rather feature other artists than use the local artists available because he’s trying to adapt to an international sound.
His new album is set to drop tomorrow 30th April 2024 and has a total of 14 tracks, among them being his hit songs like ‘Umeme‘ that has over 1 million views on YouTube.
The album is purely international reason why he has collaborated it with international artists.
