Obinna says he has been frustrated time and time again by house managers who have been managing his household and firing them. As of now, he is about to fire his sixth house manager because, as he said, she is turning out to be someone who cannot be relied on. Asking the public to help him with any intel on where he can find well trained house managers.

Obinna shared the message on his Instagram page, saying how disappointed he was with the house manager for not being able to do some things right, like, for instance, prepare simple, delicious meals.

“I’ve changed about five house managers in a span of two months. Why? They don’t know how to cook.” He said this in a video he posted online.

The father of four lamented the recurring issue he faced when he got promising candidates who claimed to be good at cooking but failed to meet his standards.

“They all say we can cook and bake, and blah blah blah…ikifika jikoni mwingine anakoroga samaki,” he explained, expressing his frustration with candidates who fell short of his expectations.

This complaint comes after Obinna realized that his house manager was unable to prepare good chapatis, describing them as crunchy and hard to even fold.

In a video he shared online, Obinna sampled the chapatis, questioning if they were indeed chapatis or pancakes because of how hard and different they were.

He even contemplated paying the current manager in full and letting them go, as he doubted their ability to consistently meet his culinary standards.

“Huyu naona hizi 4 days amefanya iko sawa, alipwe full salary na awache tu coz sioni tukitoboa!!” Obinna said.

This sentiment has, however, been perceived differently by netizens, including Kenyan content creator Lydiah Wanjiru, who advised the media personality Oga Obinna to consider teaching them or getting a new qualified chef to help in teaching the nannies with skills on how to become better chefs instead of firing them each and every time.

Defending the nannies by saying some of them come from a low poor background that doesn’t cook spicy classy meals on a daily basis hence the reason why they are not delivering as expected and the least he should do is fire them he should instead consider showing them how he wants it done.
