Kenyan film producer and director Abel Mutua, popularly known as ‘Mkurugenzi’, has shared one of the biggest challenges fathers and daughters go through.
Abel Mutua, who is engaged to Judy Nyawira, has one child, a daughter by the name of ‘Mumbus,’ whom he treasures so much having been the only one in his family setup.
Abel Mutua openly revealed that fathers with daughters go through a tough time because they are so close with them it is even worse for the father to accept even when the daughter has come of age and is set to be married.
The father of one, however, issued a disclaimer to all men eyeing his daughter, who is currently in high school, saying that should anyone decide to lure and take her at such an early age when she hasn’t completed her studies, then he will be left with no option but to follow his daughter and ask the potential suitor to host the two of them. This is actually because Abel Mutua, the father, has invested a lot in her daughter, education-wise and physically, among many other aspects, and cannot afford to have all that be thrown under the bus just because someone decided to lure her daughter away.

Abel Mutua has always tried to keep his daughter off the limelight, believing that it is the best thing to do so that she focuses on what she loves more, especially her studies and her well-being.
