The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals and final are set to feature a brand-new official match ball from Adidas — and it’s more than just eye-catching. Packed with cutting-edge technology and bold American symbolism, the ball is designed to bring precision, flair, and a touch of patriotism to football’s global stage.
Highlights:
- Adidas unveils high-tech ball for Club World Cup semi-final and final
- Ball features U.S.-inspired red, white, and blue design
- Built-in sensor technology enhances VAR precision and gameplay data
Main Story:
The new ball — specifically crafted for the final stages of the 2025 Club World Cup in the U.S. — boasts a sleek pearlescent surface with jagged red, white, and blue graphics, symbolizing the tournament’s American host. Silver accents give it a polished, futuristic finish.

This is more than just a visual upgrade. The ball is equipped with Connected Ball Technology, featuring a 500Hz sensor embedded inside. This tech sends real-time data to VAR officials, making offside decisions and ball tracking more accurate than ever before.

Adidas has also incorporated PRECISIONSHELL — a 20-panel structure designed for enhanced flight stability — and CTR-CORE, which improves bounce consistency and shape retention. The result? A ball that performs as sharply as it looks.
Staying in line with sustainability goals, the ball is made with recycled materials, including polyurethane and polyester. It was manufactured in Pakistan, a hub for elite match ball production praised for quality and durability.
The ball made its debut on July 7 and will be used exclusively during the semi-final and final matches held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. A retail version, without the sensor tech, is also available for fans and training use
With tech built into every panel and pride stitched into every thread, the new match ball is ready to make history when it matters most.
