Speaking in an interview we had with him alongside our journalist Silvakido, he said that his tattoos cost him 80,000 ksh, including the tattoo on his right arm. Which he said he did it because he loved geography back in high school, specifically map work, and opted to do something so that he never forgets how good he was at map work.

On the other hand, he has written ‘Trust None’ something he said he did out of pressure from colleagues.

Asked why he spent so much money on his tattoos, he responded by saying it is important for one to love themselves before loving others.

Trio added that he would’ve done it way back, and it is just because he didn’t have enough money to do so, which is why he did it late after finishing school.

The Young Creative went on sharing the tattoo experience, saying it is very addictive and revealing plans to do more and more soon in the future. He, however, gave a disclaimer, to all those planning to draw one, saying that drawing them can be very painful, and it is not what many think is an easy walk in the park.

“Hii kitu ni addictive ni kama drug. Ni uchungu pia. Inabamba msee ukichora unatakanga ujaze jaze ukae poa.

Ukichora tattoo utaitana hiyo haitakangi aty unaenda gym ama nini lazima uitane ukichorwa.” Trio Mio shared.

Speaking of the person behind his tattoo, the one who inspired him to draw them was his brother, who had gone to get one and just thought, in the process, why not have one himself as well?

Trio did also share the tattoo skin care routine that he used to work on, or rather adhere to, so that his tattoo stands out and doesn’t fade off.

“First time lazima pale ucheze na arimis…sa hizi nimeacha tuuh hivo hakuna routine yoyote juu ishapona.” Trio Mio explained.
