Kenyan comedian and YouTuber 2mbili has finally responded to why Kaveve Kazoze didn’t succeed or stay long in the limelight despite being spotted with the likes of Nominated senator Karen Nyamu and former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko.
Speaking in an interview with Obinna, he said that Ngesh didn’t succeed or rather thrive because she was very impatient.
“This lady, she was impatient… Hii story, ya sonko already nilikua nimempigia. I had already talked with some of the brands that I work with. She was impatient. Wao wanadhani ni jina kubwa. No, it was the song; all she needed to do was chase the song with fame.
According to 2Mbili, Kaveve Kazoze’s impatience and ignorance are what cost her and made her resort to going back home even after releasing a hit song that she could have benefited the most from and be an international big deal leave alone working with brands.
2 Mbili said that he had reached out to many people to invest in Ngesh, but she turned them all down because she wasn’t cooperating. Clarifying the whole issue, he said that he just wanted to help her and not exploit or manage her.
“My point is upcoming artists… I wanted to help Kaveve, not manage her! ….. I even told her to insist that she tells media houses to pay before interviewing her; some of them that paid were SPM BUZZ, MUNGAI EVE, SAUTI TV, and 2 Mbili.” 2mbili said.
2 Mbili went on saying that he tried the best he could, but it was only that the lady wasn’t cooperative enough, and even the things that Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu had promised didn’t happen because of such impatience.
He concluded by telling upcoming artists to be patient and not rush things, as good things take time, and one needs to ensure that they put in the work first and thread carefully.
