THE DCI HAS GIVEN AN UPDATE ON THE ONGOING MURDER CASE OF JEFF MWATHI.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigatory department has given a report on the ongoing murder case investigation of Jeff Mwathi.

According to the report released by the DCI, it read that they’re through with the first part of the Investigation, which involved interviewing the suspects and people close to Jeff mwathi and Dj Fatxo, and they are analyzing the feedback to compile a final report.

“The DCI Homicide Detectives investigating the death of Geoffrey Mwathi Ngugi aka Jeff that occurred on February 22, 2023, has concluded its 1st phase of the investigation.”

There’s also an update on the evidence gathered which is being analyzed, and a report will be given when it’s confirmed.

“Several other DCI Forensic experts assisting the Homicide investigators have also collected crucial evidence and the same are being analyzed.”

They are now moving to the second phase of the investigation, where they will be focusing on interrogating various people of interest, and they will give appropriate recommendations to the office of the director of public prosecutions (ODPP). They then are calling to the public to be patient as they look to solve the puzzle surrounding Jeff’s mysterious death.

Jeff Mwathi fell from Dj Fatxo’s apartment from the 10th floor, and nobody knows what made him do that. Ever since, people have been protesting demanding Justice for Jeff, marching to the apartment wanting the detectives to fasten the process so that Justice prevails. Jeff has already been laid to rest by his parents and the family is still in mourning as they are still concerned that their son has not received the justice he deserves.
