Stevo Simple Boy explains why he doesn’t prefer dating a celebrity despite having a huge crush on Betty Kyallo

Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy has shared his preference when it comes to dating women.

Stevo, who dumped his girlfriend over ‘infidelity’ months ago, is currently not seeing someone.

After his break-up, Stevo divulged that he had a huge crush on media personality Betty Kyallo.

Stevo revealed in a recent interview with TV 47 that despite having a huge crush on Betty Kyallo, he doesn’t fancy dating celebrities.

”Mimi nilikua nimesema nikipata ule dem mwenye ako serious, mwenye hawezi taka fame, basi nitaishi na yeye. Ule mwenye ako serious na ndoa,” he stated.

He further maintained that his crush on Betty Kyallo remains, citing that she’s humble and has a good heart.

Simple Boy’s proposal turned down

However, Simple Boy’s efforts ended in a cul de sac despite being able to grab a date with Betty Kyallo.

Betty instead ended up with a Gen Z boyfriend, monikered Charlie. While not much is not known about him, he claims that his love for Betty Kyallo is genuine.

Taking to his socials, Charlie calibrated his age, stating that he is 26 and not 21 as many had speculated.

For others, age is just a number, and Charlie seems to be happy that he has found love despite the huge age difference with his partner Betty.

He clapped back at his critics stating that many are jealous of him just because he found love and he is happy.

“As a former sad person, I can proudly say I’m no longer associated with you unhappy person with nothing but hate. A person can’t get some love? I found happiness. So you all do the math and watch us do the numbers. The ’21-year-old Ben 10’ is 26,” Charlie said on his birthday.

Betty Kyallo has been in a couple of relationships over the years, but none of them seemed to work. However, she is always willing to give love another chance. Maybe her current relationship might last.
