Former Saldido International Records signee Telani(Queen P) has opened up about her decision to leave Willy Paul’s record label, dispelling rumors of a strained relationship.
In a recent interview with Kenya Online Media, the singer divulged that her departure was primarily due to a desire to focus on her education. She emphasized that her working relationship with Willy Paul was positive and that she gained valuable experience during her time at Saldido Records.

Telani also expressed admiration for Willy Paul’s work ethic and the supportive environment at the label. She acknowledged the controversies surrounding the singer but insisted that her personal experience was different.
The budding artist has since rebranded as Telani and is pursuing a solo music career with a focus on Afropop and dancehall.
