Police in Migori County have arrested two people and seized narcotics, illicit brew, and cash during a raid in Kehancha Town. The operation targeted residential houses suspected to be linked to drug trafficking and illegal alcohol sales.

Police Raid in Kehancha
The crackdown took place in Kehancha Town, Kuria West Sub-County, where officers stormed a house located near Ladopharma Hospital. Inside, they found a 46-year-old woman believed to be running an illicit trade.

A search revealed a black bag containing 179 rolls of cannabis, four packets of Super Match Export cigarettes, and Ksh 21,140 in cash. Authorities suspect the money was generated from drug sales.

In a separate room, police arrested another individual found with more rolls of cannabis and a 10-litre jerrican filled with chang’aa. The two suspects are currently in police custody awaiting arraignment.
