Otile Brown joins the list of celebrities who adore Vybz Kartel. He made this known while reacting to Vybz Kartel’s interview where the artist discussed some of the challenges he faced in prison just to release a new song for his fans.
According to Vybz Kartel all he had to record with was an iPhone and his prison cell’s mattress. Apparently after realizing he wouldn’t be allowed any studio sessions, Vybz then mastered the art of improvising – hence the many hit songs he released while behind bars.
Seeing how determined he was, Otile Brown reposted the interview and on the caption praised Vybz Kartel for being an inspiration to his career.
Always inspired by his passion and work ethic, remember when he’ll do like 3-4 songs on the same riddim, bad man ting, Otile wrote.
This comes at a time when Otile Brown has been releasing new videos from his latest album and unlike other artists, he is not bothered about clout chasing to remain relevant.
He was however recently involved in a verbal fight with Bien following a statement he had made about Kenya not having an international artist. Born on the other felt offended seeing how far Sauti Sol had flown the Kenyan flag during their reign in the music industry.
