Media personality, YouTuber, and comedian Oga Obinna has finally shared the reason why he decided to part ways with Kiss 100.

Obinna said that he was having a hard time trying to convince Kiss 100 on some important matters, such as giving him a chance to work with Chito so that he can make their channel the number one radio station in Kenya.

Making it even worse is the fact that they never recognized his sacrifice for the sleepless nights he had trying to ensure he delivers.

“Bro, I would be sick. I was going through a very serious separation with my baby mama. It was ugly in the digital space. I did not have anyone. She was talking. I was lashing out.

That was happening, but I would show up to work every day. Even if you look at my interviews in dark shades, nobody knows why my eyes were red when I was shooting my Kulacooler show. I would shoot until 2, 3 am go home sleep in for one hour go back to Kiss…..” Obinna explained.

Why Obinna Left Kiss 100

Obinna said that he decided it was time to make his leave when the time to renew his contract came, and they told him that they had no money that they could add onto what they were paying him, something that upset him considering the fact that one of his colleagues had been added a little something.

“So, when my contract ended, I was like, Let’s talk paper. What really pissed me off even more was that nobody told me, Bro, how much are you looking at, and I was not looking at that much. I was like, What do you want to add? and they were like, No, no, we don’t have it, and then I found out that my sister’s salary has been increased. “Obinna revealed.

Obinna concluded by saying that he got upset for two reasons: one, he begged for Chito, but they never gave him, and two, he was ignored, as they failed to honor their promise of revisiting his contract and maybe add him some money to motivate his hard work.
