Nuru Okanga’s Relief After CS Kindiki Pays Hospital Bill for His Son

Published on

Nuru Okanga, a dedicated supporter of Raila Odinga, recently found himself in a heartbreaking situation. His son, Kadri Maloba, had been diagnosed with kidney failure and was hospitalized for over three months. Meanwhile, the medical bills kept piling up, placing a heavy financial burden on Okanga.

In an effort to pay for his son’s treatment, Okanga had to sell two of his cows. Unfortunately, even with that sacrifice, the money wasn’t enough to cover all the expenses.

As a result, Kadri couldn’t be discharged from the hospital. Desperate for help, Okanga reached out to his political allies in the Azimio coalition. Despite his loyalty to the movement, only a few people responded to his plea, leaving him in a tough spot.

However, a turning point came when Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki learned about Okanga’s situation. Moved by his story, Kindiki then decided to pay off the entire hospital bill, which allowed Kadri to be discharged.

I am also incredibly grateful to MP Babu Owino, Michael Mutembei Makarina, OMOSH ONE HOUR 001 Majoka Mjk Bunge la Mwananchi Jacaranda, and everyone else who supported me and my family during this challenging time. Nuru Okanga’s Unconventional Path to Education

Nuru Okanga’s journey has been far from typical. Although he dropped out of school in grade three due to financial struggles, he later made the decision to return to his studies. In 2023, he proudly completed his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) at Mumias Muslim Primary School.

Okanga also aspires to become a leader, aiming to fight for the rights of the Common Mwananchi. He also hopes to upgrade to a more prominent leadership role, with the goal of representing the country on a larger scale in the future.
