Kenyan female artist Nadia Mukami has said that she is the most influential female artist in East Africa.

She said this in an interview she was in at a Trace Music Festival awards event: She is on her own level, and not only is she doing well musically but also financially, basing it on the Tanzanian beef saying that she is way far and ahead than most of them, and her silence shouldn’t be mistaken as a sign of weakness or incompetency.

“Mimi niko kwenye level yangu. Kihela sidhani number one. If there’s any female artist in Tanzania, Ananishinda Kihela… Wengine wetu hatuongei lakini tukitoa title deed za shamba zenye tuko nazo…watu wantaanza kukimbia.”

According to Nadia, there’s no artist, even in Kenya, who has surpassed her net worth.

She also talked about the beef between Tanzanian artists and Kenyans, saying that the game that was started is a good strategy to encourage artists to up their game and deliver on their side.

Nadia recognizes and appreciates Kahligraph’s efforts in the music industry, excluding him out as one of the most important people who helped her find her way up, describing him as a smart gangster and one who is professional when it comes to safeguarding his work and getting big endorsements with international companies.

“He is a smart gangster. At times, he is a Ukiwa rapper, not everything you need to show on social media.

He is the artist with the most endorsement deals in terms of cooperation. The fact that he is a rapper and doesn’t choose to show a weird side of him like he is a family-oriented person…that’s a clean brand.”
