‘MY BOYFRIEND USED TO BEAT ME LIKE A DOG’ KAMENE GORO DISCLOSES

Kiss FM presenter , Kamene Goro opened up on about her first relationship, disclosing the boyfriend used to physically abuse her.

Speaking during her morning show, she noted that society is partly to blame because it pushes them back to their abusers,” My first boyfriend used to beat me like a thief. He was beating me like a man, but I want us to change that narrative, being abused is a whole other thing, it does something to you psyche that changes how you look at things, and we cannot fault victims.  Society makes it normal like what did you do? Did he say sorry? If he apologized then it is okay. What hurts me the most is when someone tries to get out of their situation, and society pushes them back. Some parents even say, ‘’you didn’t see your father abusing me?”

Talking about the relationship again this year, she divulged that the man cheated on her 7 times, forgiving him each time, “I was a very forgiving person until I found myself being cheated on seven times and I don’t know the other times,” encouraging ladies not to be too forgiving, “Baby girl, forgiveness tuachie Mungu please please!”

Kamene also insisted that forgiving them is also accepting the behavior, “Every time you forgive, you show this person that you accept this bad behavior, you accept to be treated like this, they can do it again because your heart is in the right place, you will forgive them.
