Mike Sonko Has Offered a Job to the Woman Who tattooed His Face on her Thigh

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has given a temporary job to Mary Njoki, the lady who tattooed his face on her thigh as they planned her business.

Mike Sonko, who had a sit-down with the Murang’a lady inside his office, shared the post on his (X) page, saying he had a fruitful conversation with her and they settled on what he could offer her as they planned for her future.

Mike Sonko, who was very accommodating and listening, told the lady that as much as he was going to help her with a job, he didn’t want to make it so obvious to the rest of the others who were watching that they could also do the same and expect Sonko to reach out for them and give them jobs, which is why he was very selective in giving her a job as per her education qualifications.

The mother of two, Mary Njoki, opened up, saying she never finished school as she just reached class eight and couldn’t continue because nobody was willing to support her, thus paying the fees.

Mike Sonko, however, understood her case and asked what she would want to do. This is when Njoki opened up, saying that she would very much love to venture into the world of business and open a boutique. Sonko made it clear that he will not be issuing cash, as everything the lady wants will be paid for.

We must know where you are buying stock; we will pay for it. There is no money here; no cash is given to you. We don’t operate that way; if you want that money, forget it. We don’t give out money.

Mike Sonko, who was concerned about her, informed her she will have to wait so that they can do due diligence on the area, and after Njoki has identified the stall she would like to start her business from, she will be credited with 100,000 ksh as a starter so that the former governor can analyze how she’s running the business before he considers adding her more money for the stock. He also promised to pay for six months.

On top of that, he offered to give her a temporary job as they await to decide her future—a job she was promised would pay her handsomely.

Lastly, she was asked if she could now erase the tattoo after having met Sonko; she refused, saying it is nearly impossible as the tattoo is permanent.
