Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been forced to apologize to family members who have lost their loved ones through social media.

Through a video shared online, Meta CEO Mark was asked to apologize to all the individuals who have lost their loved ones through social media, considering the recent tragedy that has been happening by people finding their match online and taking it further; some even go ahead and marry and even have kids together.

“I am sorry for what you’ve all gone through and the things that have made your family suffer. This is why we are investing so much, and we are going to continue to make sure that happens so that we see nobody goes through what your families are going through.” Mark apologized to the nation on a live broadcast.

But it is very unfortunate that lately most of the incidents that have been happening are the complete opposite, where young ladies and people have ended up in coffins because they met up with strangers who had different intentions rather than pursuing their relationship and taking things further. Something that has now raised an alarm among all individuals about how to consume social media.

Recently in Nairobi, Kenya, a young 20-year-old lady by the name of Rita Waeni was brutally murdered, and her body parts were dismembered and thrown in a plastic bag. There have been other such reported incidents.
