On Buzz with the stars, a mum, wife, a CEO of Jiffy pictures, a multi-talented woman of substance, not to mention a business prodigy, one Lulu Hassan got to share some surprising facts about her and Rashid Abdalla.
Lulu Khadija, well known as Lulu Hassan is a Kenyan Television news anchor and reporter for Kenya’s most-watched television station, Citizen TV.
“He is the disciplinarian in the house,” touches out Lulu.
The anchor says that her husband is the more tough parent compared to her. Rashid Abdalla is also a Kenyan Swahili news Anchor who hosts Citizen Nipashe alongside his wife Lulu Hassan.
This was after Kanze left for Statehouse as the spokesperson and Lulu was left with no TV host, thus bringing in her husband Rashid Abdalla. Rashid previously was a Nation TV news anchor before leaving for Citizen.
According to Lulu, planning Rashid’s birthday was a big deal, and she had to even lie to plan everything up. Rashid wasn’t aware of what Lulu had planned. This actually created mixed reactions when Jovial (artist) was called in to perform. The anchor states out that people had completely misunderstood the whole situation.
Surprising facts about the two are that they started off by earning the same salary, like in almost all areas of their work.
She labels her marriage as “friends” which enables them to push everything together, which actually acts as a mirror to most people out here.
“Jipange kwanza,” says Lulu when focusing on the now growing Film industry. She advises the now coming in the industry as she says most of them only focus on Stardom rather than establishing themselves personally as a brand.
