Kenyan comedian MC Jessy is grieving the loss of his close friend, Silas Wainaina, also known as Pastor Favour. Pastor Favour passed away on September 2nd in Johannesburg, South Africa.
MC Jessy shared his heartfelt tribute on social media, expressing the deep void left by Pastor Favour’s passing. He described him as a friend, confidant, and positive influence. He also sent condolences to Pastor Favour’s wife, Linda, who predeceased him.
”My Friend has Rested. Word cannot express the void you’ve left in my heart, you were my friend and more than just family. You played your part in my life my brother, you were that guy that always there for peer advice and ofcourse positive peer pressure. My brother from another mother but from the same God our Father. Say Hi to Linda your wife and my friend too for me. A memorial service for Pastor Favour will be held at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Thursday, September 12th, starting at 9:00 am.
