Actress and brand influencer Marya Okoth has confirmed that she did indeed break up with comedian YY, and they are not clout-chasing as some are claiming.
Marya, who was talking to the press, clarified that she is not seeing Comedian YY, and what she had posted on her social media is definitely true, as she was not trying to just get attention from the public.
“lemmie clear I posted what I posted, niliandika kenye niliandika, we are not clout chasers; we have never been known to be clout chasers, and nikaandika, please give us privacy. This is what we were actually talking about; for sure, me and him are not the type to clout chase about anything.” Marya Confirmed.
She also added that they are not a perfect couple, and just like any other couple, they too have ups and downs, and that is the very reason why she released the statement of separation that she did recently. She however asured the public that even with their separation, they will still coparent and make sure their child gets all she needs from her parents.
“We are not a special couple, every couple goes through their ups and downs, it still doesn’t make me or him a bad person we are still good parents to our baby.” Marya clarified:

Content creator Marya Okoth had announced a breakup with YY comedian. Marya shared the news on her Instagram, explaining that the separation was due to unavoidable circumstances. In her post, she expressed gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support throughout their time together, requesting for privacy without sharing much details concerning their fallout.

How Marya Moved in
A While back, Nurse Toto actress Marya openly revealed that she moved in with YY after their first date a time by then when she was young.
“It was sort of an hour after we first met… We spent about an hour together, and then I went to his place. And, the baby came along gradually.”
Comedian YY’s Take on Relationship
Comedian YY did a n interview after breaking up with Marya where he shared a few thoughts concerning relationships and how to treat a woman.
One of the questions he was asked is why he invested so much in Marya, something that he responded back saying that it is something he did out of good will an because she was his and just like any other man you’d want to see your woman grow as well.
“Invest in a woman, whether they appreciate it or not. I believe in doing good without expecting anything in return. Expectation is what kills relationships. I’ve seen situations where you help a woman, and they may or may not be grateful, but that doesn’t change who I am.”
YY also shared his thoughts on breakups, advising that even if a relationship ends, one should aim to build an ex they can be proud of.
“When entering relationships, we should remember we’re human. People break up—it happens. We shouldn’t just think about forever, because sometimes it doesn’t work out,” he said.
The Duo are currently co parenting raising their young daughter and still refuse to share details on what exactly my have triggered them ending their relationship leaving the public with just a simple statement saying they’re no longer together and are asking for privacy.
