Kenyan legendary Actor and MC Makhoha has offered marriage advice to all couples, especially men following the demise of his wife Purity Wambui.
Speaking during a brief interview with Tuko, Makhoha simple message to all men is to love, support their partners and above all to avoid any domestic violence that involves harming their wives.
“Nilikua nasema tuh wamama ni watu wa maana sana duniani…..wanaume msijaribu kuinua hata mkono tuh hata slap…tunajua wana mdomo but don’t try to hit your wife at all wanapitia kama sisi wanaume, tuwe tuh na peace kwa hii dunia na familia zetu.” Makhoha emotionally advised.
Translation ( I was saying that women are very important people who are a part of us in this world… I am urging all men to never even think of lifting their hands to hit their women/or rather abuse them, even if it involves disciplining them with just a simple slap.
I urge you to not do so in as much women can be annoying at times, they are also human being, and they go through the same things that we men go through. Just make sure you live together in peace with each other)

What led to the death of Makhoha’s Wife Purity Wambui
According to Makhokha, his wife Purity had been battling cancer for the last 18 years but it got even more searious the last 4 months.
“Shida ilikuwa breast cancer… Alkuwa anaenda chemotherapy na kuna growths ambazo zilikuwa zinatolewa.” Makhoha revealed.
He talked about the journey experience that wasn’t easy but regardless he pushed himself to see that his wife gets the necessarily treatment she needed.
Makhoha also admitted to having used over 2 million treating his wife but because he always wanted the best for her, he never at any moment minded using that much and would escort her to hospital each time she could ask him to.
“Siwezi sema ni mzigo imekuwa safari. Kila safari iko na mambo yake, milima, misumari name it and lazima upambane. Tulikuwa tunaenda private you have to spend money. Mwisho ndo nilikuja kumpeleka Kenyatta. It’s like over KSh 3 million.“
