List of the most subscribed YouTube channels in Kenya

The rise of YouTube has seen a surge in popularity for Kenyan content creators. With millions of viewers shifting from traditional television to digital platforms, several Kenyan channels have achieved significant milestones.

Leading the pack is Citizen TV, boasting a massive 5.12 million subscribers.

Other news outlets like KTN News and NTV Kenya have also garnered substantial followings with their news coverage and analysis. They have 2.87 & 2.49 million subscribers on YouTube respectively.

In the entertainment sphere, Churchill Show has captured the hearts of Kenyans with its comedic content. The entertainment channel has garnered 2.37 million subs.

Kenyan musician Otile Brown has 1.5 million subscribers, while Bahati follows closely with 1.36 million subscribers.

Singer Willy Paul is also among the bigwigs in the music sector with 1.22 million YouTube subscribers.

Interestingly, Diana Bahati has made history as the first Kenyan female artist to surpass one million subscribers, showcasing the growing influence of female content creators. She is currently at 1.08 million subscribers.

Lynn Ngugi is also among the most subscribed female content creators. She celebrated her fete of attaining a million subscribers recently.
