Larry Madowo Calls Out Meek Mill For Undermining Africans

International CNN journalist Larry Madowo has called out American Rapper Meek Mill for being ignorant and discriminating against Africa and the people in it.

This was yesterday when Meek Mill tweeted on his page asking how Africans were playing international music in Africa, especially in a country like Nigeria, where he said he had performed way back and was surprised at how things were being run on that continent, specifically South Africa.

“Do a lot of people play my music in South Africa? I remember having a big show there a few years back. How do you all listen to our music in South Africa? On what platform or in  Nigeria?”Meek Mill’s tweet read:

Larry Madowo, who read the tweet, went ahead to respond to the statement, questioning the rapper’s knowledge of how he thinks Africans survive.

“Does Meek Mill think we live in trees in Africa?” Larry Madowo’s statement read:.

Meek Mili, however, clarified his statement, saying that he just wanted to know how it works since none of his contracts are distributing music in Africa.

“I was asking how they listen to music in Africa because I want to handle my business; none of my contracts say they have rights to distribute me in Africa. looking for a money trial? I don’t know what platforms are used in South Africa.” Meek Mill clarified his stand.
