“Kwani cha ajabu ni kipi?” 60 Year old Tanzanian Man living with his parents speaks on why he has no plans of relocating

Meet the 60-year-old Tanzanian man who lives with his parents and has no plans of moving out.

Speaking to the press in Tanzania, he said he is happily living with his parents at his age and is not going to move out because his age says otherwise.

“Nahishi kwetu na sitahama… Hatujaletwa duniani kujenga, kama babako kasha jenga wewe unajenga ya nini? Huna mambo ingine ya kufanya?” He posed a question.

The 60-year-old said that he has other things to do, and building is actually not one of them, adding that there’s no point in building houses if your parents have built one because they’re going to stay in the houses that the parents have built.

“Kwani zile nyumba yakae mashetani? Nina mambo ingine ya kufanya saa hii nakula Bata. Na sihami niko sitini kamili.”
He said.

To him, he actually doesn’t see anything wrong with staying with his parents, as others think of it as a big deal, and instead he considers it as a normality. As an individual, what you should do is consider focusing on other things rather than wasting time on what has already been made.

The reason this looks like a big deal is because there has always been a notion that even at 25, you as an adult should move out of your parents house and start fending for yourselves.
