Kenyan media personality and former Kenyan President Spokesperson Kanze Dena has opened up on how she has been surviving despite not having received her salary for the last 2 years.

Kanze Dena revealed that she has been using up the savings that she had initially stacked up, saying it is the very reason she has been managing to live life.

“I would like to urge Kenyans to start saving because savings helped me. Thats when I understood the meaning of savings, and I thank God for circles and all the opportunities to save because such days do come.” She said.

Kanze Dena admitted that she had started seeing that things were not working out but chose to sail through the storm rather than walk away. She chose to remain, believing that soon the dawn would break.

Earlier, Kanze Dena said she was not able to compound in total how much money they had not been paid, only that they had not received any payment.

There is still no clear reason as to why they have not been paid, Kenyan Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura addressed the matter saying that they are unaware of the matter because the names had not yet been forwarded.

“On Kanze Dena and one more staff in Uhuru’s office their names have not been forwarded to the State House Comptroller by the retired President for processing.
