Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has openly shared the reason why he never walks out of his house without saying a prayer.
Peter Salasya openly revealed that two months before the election he was involved in a gruesome road accident that nearly cost their lives. The only reason he walked out alive is because of God’s grace and not by luck.
“God is faithful, and if there are hard times for a politician during campaigns, a lot happens. We survived a very dangerous accident at 3am, just 2 months to the election in the forest.” Part of Peter Salasya’s statement read:
The reason why Peter Salasya believes there’s an existing lord that answers prayers is the fact that he was in a car and it lost control, and in the process of trying to figure out what to do, he called upon the lord’s name, and out of nowhere something happened that made the car hit a tree in a forest which brought the car to an abrupt stop, saving their lives.
“When the car lost control, I started calling upon the blood of Jesus loudly when we had lost hope, and something happened instantly when the car hit a big tree.
This is the reason I said I will never leave the house without making my personal prayer before I leave the house.” Peter Salasya’s statement read:
