Kenyan Gospel DJ Kezz has narrated a traumatic experience that befell her once in her early years that led to her conception at such an early age.
DJ Kezz, who was speaking during an interview with Obinna TV, admitted that the pregnancy she had while she was 18 years old was not called for, or, in other words, it was an unfortunate incident that she was not expecting.
“I got pregnant at 17 years old…I don’t want to get much into it, but it was an unfortunate incident of my first time going clubbing, getting drugged and sexually assaulted, but I told nobody.” DJ Kezz opened up.
She explained further that it was something that took a toll on her, especially how her close colleagues, including her family, handled the unfortunate incident that befell her, saying she was ‘excommunicated’ from her community because they believed that she had been infected.
This resulted in her resorting to dropping going to church for 6 years because of the discrimination she was getting and thought of being a clu DJ where she was not being called out compared to when she was in church.

Dj Kezz, however, found peace at heart and forgave those who were calling her out and decided to give back to her community by raising over 10 million Ksh that was used to build two-story buildings for the church.
She lastly stressed the need for the public to be considerate and stop being so judgmental on matters they are not aware of, rather advising them to consider looking for ways on how to approach such matters without discouraging those who have been victims.
