Ministry of Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu released the 2023 results of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination earlier today.

In the year 2023, 899,453 candidates sat the Form 4 national exams, and below is how you can check the results.

Speaking at Moi Girls High School in Eldoret, CS Machogu said the candidates will no longer access their results through the SMS system.

The candidates will access their results through the KNEC website starting today.

On the website, the candidate will go to the KCSE 2023 section and access their results.

Candidates will then enter their index numbers and names as per their registration data.

Unlike in the previous year, candidates will not be able to access the 2023 KCSE results through SMS code.

“Individual 2023 KCSE candidates’ examination results will be accessed online through a link on the KNEC website or directly through the URL: www.results.knec.ac.ke,” a statement from KNEC read in part.

The results would be available immediately after their release by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.

Official result slips will be accessible through examination centers where the candidates sat for their exams.

CS Machogu has assured candidates that the ministry has ensured the system is working.

“This time we have worked with engineers and experts, and we are sure that the website is working, and Kenyans will not have the inconveniences we had last time,” he said.

The council will also dispatch results to sub-county education officers for distribution to exam centers.
