Justice Ogembo’s body was discovered by his driver when he went to pick him up for work in the morning.

According to his driver, the judge mentioned on Tuesday afternoon that he was not feeling well, despite maintaining his work schedule.

The driver tried calling Justice Ogembo to pick him up, but there was no answer. Worried, he went to check on him and found the door locked from the inside.

After he returned, he alerted the judicial staff, who arrived with security personnel. They then broke down the door and discovered his lifeless body lying on the bed.

Justice Daniel Ogembo, whose career in the judiciary spanned over a decade, began his journey as a magistrate in 2004.

His dedication and legal acumen led to his appointment as a Judge of the High Court in 2016. Throughout his tenure, he served at various high courts, including Eldoret, Milimani, and Siaya.

In Siaya, he took on the role of presiding judge, succeeding Lady Justice Roseline Aburili, and served in this capacity for nearly two years.
