Quite a number of celebrities and artists are managed by women.

1. Kenyan rapper Trio Mio, whose real name is Mario TJ Cassela, is managed by his mother, Sofia Irma Sakwa.
The young upcoming artist who started releasing tracks back in 2020 rose to fame with his known track called ‘Cheza Kama Wewe‘ released alongside top Kenyan artists like Mejja X Exray.
He has also performed countrywide on some of the biggest stages, like Nakuru, Nairobi, and Eldoret; he even performed during Mashujaa Day.
2. Kenyan artist and songwriter Bien Baraza is also one of the recognized individuals, having worked with the Sauti Sol band before they parted ways, is managed by his wife Chiki Kuruka.
Bien, who is not just a local artist but also an international artist, has collaborated with some of the top international artists, like Ayra Starr and Joshua Baraka.
Bien has also released his new album ‘Alusa, why are you Topless’ after partying with the Sauti Sol group.
3. Kenyan film writer Abel Mutua is also managed by his wife, Judy Nyawira.
Abel Mutua is known for his ‘Mkurugenzi’ show, in which he shares real-life experiences and airs regularly on his YouTube channel.
Abe Mutua also used to act back in the day in a TV series show that used to air on Citizen TV called ‘Tahidi High’.
4. Kenyan bongo artist Otile Brown is also managed by a female Mumbi Maina, who was recently employed moments after Otile parted ways with his former manager.
Otile Brown is not only known through his viral love songs but also by having dated a well-known Kenyan socialite, Vera Sidika, for whom he even went ahead to release a track for her.
Some of the popular tracks by Otile Brown are ‘Baby Love, Kistaarabu, Love Like This, and Kenyan Girl, amongst many others.
He has also collaborated with some of the international artists, like Sanaipei Tande, releasing ‘Amina’.
Otile Brown has also performed in the Grandest stages of them all, including the states.
