G Money lands new job after leaving Homeboyz radio

Renowned Kenyan DJ and radio presenter G Money, is poised to join the UK-based online station Robbo Ranx Radio. Negotiations for the deal are reportedly in advanced stages.

Founded in 2014 by DJ Roger Robinson, better known as Robbo Ranx, Robbo Ranx Radio is a popular online platform focused on Caribbean music.

In a social media post, the station announced that they are close to finalizing the deal with G Money. “Kenya, we’re in talks with your ambassador G Money … his agent thinks we could do the deal before deadline day,” Robbo Ranx Radio stated.

G Money himself expressed excitement about the potential move. Sharing a picture of himself in the studio, he said, “What a nice studio. You should see the floor! Shhhh.”

G Money’s departure from Homeboyz Radio after 16 years has made headlines in Kenya. In a past interview, he recounted how he came to Kenya in 2008 to help set up the station.

Despite initial skepticism from some friends, G Money was encouraged by his grandmother to pursue the opportunity. With her support, he decided to take the leap and explore his career in Kenya.
