Eric Omondi shares reason why Fred Omondi is getting buried 2 weeks since death

Activist Eric Omondi says his brother could have been buried a week ago after his accident but those close to him stopped him from rushing into funeral plans – allowing him to grieve and process the loss.

Speaking earlier, Eric Omondi revealed that Jalang’o, Terence Creative and Churchill stepped in to help with the funeral plans – hence managing to raise Ksh1million for Fred Omondi’s burial set to take place in Siaya.

Still on the same, Eric mentioned that the three comforted him through the hard times however also reminded him why he should not rush in burying his small brother who needed to be mourned by his fans.

we were to bury Freddy last Saturday. Nikapigiwa na Terence, Jalango na churchill wakaniambia Freddie ni ndugu yako lakini matanga sio yako.So they took over everything. Eric said.

Freddie Omondi’s accident

The late Freddie Omondi met his untimely death while leaving a club gig he had hosted on the night of June 14th.

He however leaves behind happy memories thanks to his career in the comedy entertainment scene where he dominated alongside his brother Eric Omondi.

Freddie’s body is expected to be airlifted to Kisumu for his final journey as he is set to be buried on 29th June.
