Dorea Chege reveals why she blocked her girlfriends

Published on

Kenyan actress, socialite, and brand influencer Dorea Chege, famously known as ‘Maggie’ from the Maria TV series, has explained why she decided to block her close friends.

Speaking alongside Carrol Sonnie and other friends, Dorea Chege recounted a time when she introduced someone who mattered the most to her to her friends who were popular. This did not go well because, before she realized it, they had taken it too far and started seeing each other without even notifying her, something she interpreted as betrayal.

“I found someone I connected to, Hakua social media and all that, as we were really connecting… I introduced her to my other friends, Wenye Wako, on social media, and tell me why tomorrow they are giving each other rings like…wana hang out, Wako out for dinner, talking about me.

Both of them were my friends.”
Dorea Chege said.

She goes on saying that she was heartbroken, but to ensure she protected her peace, she blocked one of them who was on social media clearly explaining the reason she thought of doing so.

“Before I blocked, I called… nikamuambia yooh, you guys have f***d, and this is what kind of people you are; I hate you, and I blocked her.. kila mahali nikamcancel na block, this other one mwenye ako chini ya maji hata sikuwahi muongelesha.”
Dorea Chege said.

According to Dorea Chege, you’d rather let her know that you are going to do something as a friend before doing it; she insists on clear communication.
