DCI LAUNCHES A MAN HUNT FOR SUSPECTS INVOLVED IN MONDAY’S VIOLENCE.

The Kenya Directorate of Criminal Investigatory team has launched investigations to people who were spotted on camera vandalizing public property on March 20th.

The detectives have assured the public that the victims who were spotted on camera will be hunted down, and legal action will be taken against them.

They shared a thread through their Twitter page saying that it won’t take long before they are arrested.

“The Criminals who took advantage of the demonstrations were captured on camera destroying public property, attacking innocent members of the public and hurling projectiles at police officers who were on duty protecting life and property. The Directorate is currently on a manhunt for the suspects whose images appear below as others are being gathered and shall be updated.”

They have said that the criminals will face the long arm of the law due to their actions and serve as an example to the rest. They have also asked the public to volunteer and give information that can help the detectives capture the bandits.

“Who will face charges ranging from robbery with violence, malicious damage to public property and assault among other allied offenses. We are appealing to members of the public to volunteer information that may lead to their arrest.”

Although, they have asked the suspects especially those who were spotted on camera to avail themselves at their offices today which is located along Kiambu road before the end of the day.

On March 20th which was on a Monday, Residents all over the country led by their Azimio leader Raila Odinga staged a protest in the county of Nairobi that saw a lot of vandalism take place especially relocating the street signs, harassing cops and other public properties that were burnt down and broken.
