DAIRYLAND LAUNCHES A NEW DAIRY FREE ICE CREAM

Dairyland, is a leading ice cream Kenyan brand that started out with ice cream products back in the year 1979. It then expanded to include chocolates, yogurts, chocolate spreads, topping sauces and an array of catering products. On Friday, 9th June 2023 at at the picturesque Zen Gardens, they delighted attendees during the launch of their new dairy-free ice cream. The event showcased the brand’s commitment to providing delicious options for lactose-intolerant individuals and those seeking dairy-free alternatives. The launch introduced exciting flavors such as: Strawberry, Cappuccino, Brownies and Hazel nut among others.

The Dairy free Ice cream is made with soy milk. All of those bases come from plants. 

The event was graced by the presence of several top influencers, including Ben Cyco, Wanjiru Njiru, Moji Short Baba, Nyawira Gachugi, Victor Peace, Stephanie Ng’ang’a, Murugi Munyi, Susan Kaittany, and Just Ivy, among others. Their attendance underscored the enthusiasm surrounding Dairyland’s innovative product and its potential impact on the market.

During the event, the Head of Marketing shared her thoughts on why people should consider trying the new dairy-free ice cream. Saying that it is lactose free thus making it recommendable.

“Dairyland I think, in as much as it is lactose-free, the taste is just as our normal high-quality ice cream, making it suitable for everyone.” Her statement emphasized the brand’s commitment to maintaining the exceptional taste and quality of their dairy-free options.

The new Dairyland dairy-free ice cream will be readily available in all leading supermarkets in the county including Carrefour, Naivas and Quickmart. They only go at a price tag of 260 Kenyan shillings for a 500ml container, the ice cream is positioned as an affordable indulgence for consumers.

Dairyland’s dairy-free ice cream range aims to cater to the increasing demand for lactose-free and vegan-friendly options without compromising on taste and quality. The launch event successfully highlighted the brand’s dedication to providing inclusive and enjoyable experiences for all ice cream lovers.

The Dairyland’s dairy-free ice cream has been dispatched to supermarkets and can be acquired on the above named price tag. Lastly, this exciting launch marks a significant step forward in the availability and accessibility of delectable dairy-free treats in the market.
