Kenyan content creator Chebet Ronoh has disclosed the reason why she is a loner without friends.

Ronoh said that she is always alone because she doesn’t really see the point of having people who aren’t long-lasting and intentional, and at the moment she is just cruising alone and working on herself first.

“I don’t have any friends for now, and it’s not a bad thing. I also want friends who are long-lasting and intentional, and I feel like I haven’t reached there yet.”

She also talked about having battled alcoholism, saying that it was a monster that she was trying hard to fight and hinting that she had been to rehab.

Alcohol cost her a lot, including her love life and her good relationships with other people, including friends.

According to her, she never actually thought that at some point in her life, alcohol would be a part of her, and she would be battling with it as she had just taken it for fun, not thinking of the consequences it may have later on.

She said that what actually messes with people’s perception is their mindset—the thoughts that they tell themselves.

She made peace with the situation she was in, saying that for her, she used to confide in alcohol as a form of escapism from the reality and challenges she was facing in life, and her decision to return to rehab was to take a different turn in life and work on her new image, which she said is going well at the moment.

Ronoh is a month sober after deciding to quit drinking because it was messing her up and making her forget her priorities and good ambitions in life.

“I decided to really quit, and I am kind of one month sober now.”

Ronoh said that she is a living example, and she can truly testify about the whole experience to the world.
