Kenyan woman business entrepreneur Anerlisa Muigai shares the reason why she doesn’t reply to her flooded inbox.

Speaking in an interview with our very own journalist, Silva Kido, she did say that the reason she opts not to is that there are so many messages she receives in less than 24 hours, making her even less interested.

Anerlisa shared an estimate of messages she receives on a regular day without her posting anything being 50 and even worse when she is reposted by other companies and people, which hikes the numbers to 200 a day.

“Like, let’s say I have been posted by other people on social media, or there’s something controversial out there… I’ll probably get 200 a day. But on a normal day when everything is quiet, I have not posted anything. 50!”

She also shared the reason behind her tremendous entrepreneurial skills, giving credit to her mother, who has always backed her up even in her lowest moments, adding that the key to making it is being consistent in what you are doing and not giving up on your dreams.

“My mom has impacted me so much; I have not been even half of what she is…

My mom, even when things were hard and the company had closed up for like two years, never showed us that it was not possible to do it. She made it possible.”

Anerlisa also hinted that she might be thinking of starting a podcast so that she can advise people that money isn’t everything and guide them on how to carefully choose their priorities, especially when they are praying for something.
