Kenyan comedian Timothy Kimani, famously known as ‘Njugush, has openly admitted to having battled a childhood condition that was affecting his speech.
Speaking during an interview with one of our journalists, Betty Kithinji, he appreciated and credited his mother for having sacrificed a lot to see that his childhood condition was taken care of.
“I think Kufika mahali nimefika ni because of that… When I was born, I was around 1 month old. I had a condition that I was born with, something to do with my speech, me not being able to speak. Kama si intervention ilifanywa na my mother, and as you will see in the book, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Bila hiyo mimi kuongea, I don’t think I’ll be able to be where I am as of today.” Njugush shared.
