As yesterday’s protests against the 2024 Finance Bill escalated, some of the protestors went inside Uhuru Park and destroyed some of the valuables that had been placed inside it after its renovation.

Uhuru park is a recreational centre that is adjacent to the Central Business District of Nairobi Kenya.

Amongst the things that were destroyed was a plane that had been placed inside there for beautification; apparently, it was torched, and some other vans that were there were pushed into the water.

Below is the video of the plane going up in flames:

The agenda remains the same as Kenyans want to be heard, and they will not relent until the 2024 Finance Bill is rejected.

Yesterday the country witnessed something that has never occurred in history as Protestors managed to make their way to parliament and made their statement making the Members of Parliament flee to avoid falling into the hands of angry protestors who wanted to be heard.

They also made into the City Hall where the torched a few things inside and flee later on to avoid being captured, word has it that they decided to go that route because the policemen allegedly started violence, something that they really never wanted.

Despite the 2024 Finance Bill having passed onto the third stage, Netizens still believe that they stand a chance to make things turn around for the better. Urging the Kenyan President to hear their cry.
